Southern Peninsular India is expected to see another heavy rainfall day thanks to the combo effect from the mid level UAC off Comorin Coast & the lower level LWD over the interior regions.  Kerala could see another active day in terms of rains while over the interior region, South Karnataka, adjoining Rayalseema region could see heavy rains in a few places around Bellary, Bangalore, Mysore Anantapur, Tirupati & Kurnool areas.

Today the rain chances are very high again for the interior places of West Tamil Nadu & North Tamil Nadu.  The lower level LWD is expected to shift slightly to the South bringing potentially heavy rain probability to the districts of Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Vellore, Tiruvannamalai and Kancheepuram.  Also there is a good possibility of rains in Central TN around Tiruchi and Dindigul areas as well.  Places around Erode & Salem in West TN could see isolated spells of heavy rains. As has been the case the rains are expected to peak only late in the night.

Chennai Weather Update: Pleasant Morning with partly cloudy skies.  Day time temperature expected to peak around 35°C. Late in the night possible rains on the cards though it requires a bit of wind support.  We will post an update in the evening based on the evolving conditions.
