In a development that could bring a lot of relief to the people of Coastal Tamil Nadu, particularly from the stretch between Pondicherry & Delta, rains are likely to ease over the state from today with the Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation over the Arabian Sea gradually moving west and fading away in its influence over Peninsular India. While coastal areas have been seeing some rains today morning these remnant bands will shift to interior areas during the day triggering a few convective thunder cells bringing moderate to heavy spell of rains in the interior parts later in the afternoon / evening.
From tomorrow until weekend mostly it is going to be the drier Northerlies from the land that is going to influence weather pattern over Tamil Nadu with the moist Easterlies sticking to the lower latitudes. This relatively drier weather conditions is likely to prevail until weekend before the Easterlies gradually return back. Till then its time to enjoy some sunshine and focus on getting things back on track in the flooded areas.
