The Upper Air Circulation off the Comorin Coast has further intensified and is now stretching upto 500 hPa levels, this has resulted in monsoon type rains for the Southern Tip of Indian Peninsula.

Dry Weather to continue for Chennai, Isolated rains in Interior & South TN
The next few days would see dry weather for Chennai. The temperature is expected to be around 35C till middle of the week and from Wednesday it could raise to about 37C.
