As an elixir of life without doubts Rains could create wide ranging emotions for humans from distress to ecstasy.

Northeast Monsoon by default almost gives despair and ecstasy to weather watchers of Tamil Nadu with bloggers mood swinging wildly like a pendulum as sub seasonal events take place. Ironically most bloggers don’t realize Nature runs at its pace. Satellite Images indicate a fairly active Western Indian Ocean as a combination of planetary waves influence Equatorial Waters of Indian Ocean. Under the influence of West moving Equatorial Rossby Wave convection has flared up on either side of the Equator along with weak circulation. This could spin a Low Pressure Area in the coming days which is likely to add strength to the Easterlies at lower latitudes.

Wind charts indicate the Easterlies to strengthen from today bringing back the rains over coastal areas of Tamil Nadu starting tonight / early tomorrow morning. As the Easterlies strengthen the convection will also climb up in latitude. Today we could see isolated heavy spells of rains over parts of Delta districts while light to moderate rains may happen over rest of the coast things improve further from tomorrow for an active spell of rains over the next week or so.
