The Hot Day time conditions that has been prevailing over most parts of Tamil Nadu over the last few days is set to continue for a couple of more days. Particularly in the interior places of Tamil Nadu the day time temperatures will remain above normal with most places seeing maximum temperature cross 35 / 36°C.
While Tuesday & Wednesday saw a few places break records for highest temperatures recorded during the month of February things eased to some extent particularly among the coastal areas on Thursday. Today we could see a further marginal dip in the day time temperatures though interiors of Tamil Nadu will continue to see hot conditions prevail. Similar conditions will prevail over the state during the weekend.
Tomorrow morning models indicate a slight dip in the temperatures indicating possibly cooler than normal conditions to prevail over most areas of North Coastal Tamil Nadu including Chennai.
