Chennai Weather – Warm Days are back

Last couple of days has seen Tamil Nadu receive isolated rains with the rain bands now shifted to the North of us.  South AP & Rayalseema region continues to enjoy the rains while parts of North Karnataka & Telengana received very heavy rains last evening.

Southwest Monsoon Update:  Monsoon2015 has further withdrawn over parts of Rajasthan, Haryana & Punjab.  Except for Peninsular India & parts of NE India most of the country has been going through a dry spell.  The situation is expected to continue with Monsoon currently very active over West Coast.

With the rains bands moving North more areas in Konkan region could get benefited from rains today.  West Coast of Maharashtra could get some heavy spells of rains along with parts of Telengana & North Karnataka. Konkan region could get some  much needed rains after a very poor July & August.

Tamil Nadu Weather Update: Mostly clear skies with places in the plains seeing a day time temperature of around 36°C.  Towards afternoon partly cloudy skies could evolve with isolated thunderstorms possible over one or two places in North Tamil Nadu.  But with a very active Monsoon over West Coast the East Coast would have to wait for its turn.

Chennai Weather Update: Warm day ahead with temperatures expected to cross 36°C.  Partly cloudy conditions could increase the humidity and make an uncomfortable day.  Late evening passing showers from remnant thunderstorms may happen in some areas.
