In what is a welcome development for Chennai Weather, the last few days have seen regular rains along North Tamil Nadu providing good rainfall to many places in Tiruvallur District improving the water table much needed for the lakes around Chennai.
The Well Marked Low over Rajasthan has become a depression and is providing heavy rainfall over many places of Gujarat and Rajasthan. It is currently lying Southeast of Jaisalmer. The Depression over North Bay is practically stationary thanks to the evolving Depression in West India. In the next 24 hours or so it would intensify into a Deep Depression and start to move in a W/NW direction.
Tamil Nadu Weather Update: North Coastal Tamil Nadu would have partly cloudy skies with temperatures in most places around 35 Degrees. Evening thunderstorms might develop around Vellore / Krishnagiri regions which could move in a South Easterly direction. With weak monsoon over North Kerala & South Karnataka the rainfall opportunities could come down in the next few days as the Depression over West Coast continues to pull in moisture from Arabian Sea.
Chennai Weather Update: Chennai would have a pleasant day with temperatures possibly around 35 Degrees. There is a possibility of some thunderstorms developing to the West of Chennai in the evening that could give rains to some parts of Chennai late evening.
