While the trough running along the coast of TN off Sri Lanka is influencing the rainfall pattern over Coastal areas the circulation over the Lacadive sea area has been creating conditions for heavy rains over Kerala & along the Western Ghats.

Weather models indicate a possible wind Convergence over North Coastal TN and adjoining parts of South AP. This could trigger heavy rains in one or two places in the region.
