Yesterday saw most parts of Tamil Nadu go through dry weather. Only Thootukudi port and Kamudhi in South TN and Kangeyam in West TN received moderate overnight showers.
As explained in our past yesterday almost all of Tamil Nadu is expected to be under the influence of dry continental air from North India. A look at the precipitation accumulation chart till 26th explains the story with almost all of TN showing very little precipitation.
With Bay showing weak Easterly impact till early next week the situation is expected to remain the same. Around 27th of October models expect the first active phase of Northeast Monsoon to start.
Till then it’s going to be above normal day time temperatures and cool nights all across the state.
