Northeast Monsoon has been vigorous for the past couple of weeks over not only Tamil Nadu but many parts of Peninsular India as a train of disturbances influenced by a near stationary weak MJO pulse over Maritime Continent moved into Bay of Bengal. While the near continuous rains on the back of what has been a very good year overall for Tamil Nadu has brought inundation & water logging over many parts of the state including the capital, not only common public are also at their wits end due to these spell of rains but also weather bloggers who are pluviophiles by nature are also slowly reaching the Tipping point in terms of enjoying the rains.
Nevertheless as bloggers we don’t decide where, when & how much it will rain but all we could do is make a reasonable assessment of prevailing conditions based on inputs from tools like satellite images, radar Images & weather models etc. Subsequently we could also provide for a carefully estimated inference on what to expect so that others also could benefit from the inference in terms of being better prepared.
Today’s Video Inference is an attempt to see through the noise of weather models and make a careful judgement on why despite Monsoon remaining active & also rains not exactly stopping yet Tamil Nadu could look forward to light at the end of the tunnel and possibly Northeast Monsoon may finally show some mercy on Tamil Nadu.
