Agni Natchathiram that started on May 4th has been fairly kindly to Chennai till now. The last few days has seen the max temperature of around 35⁰ C thanks to the Easterlies that provided rains to the coastal areas of Delta region today. So what’s in store for us?
The effect of Easterlies is slowly on the wane though coastal Tamil Nadu, around the delta region and south Tamil Nadu will get some isolated spells of rains tomorrow morning thanks to the convection aided by the Upper Air Circulation off the Sri Lankan coast.
One or two places in Interior Tamil Nadu especially around Dharmapuri region could see some rains through Veppa Salanam around late afternoon tomorrow.
Chennai could see a slight increase in day time temperature with possibly the max temperature crossing 36⁰ C tomorrow and may be touch 37⁰C around the weekend.
