Over the last few days if one had to observe the skies a common sight that greets is the presence of Low Level Clouds to the East, which possibly triggers the thoughts of “Will it rain today?” thought among common people.
Thanks to the Weak Easterlies the eastern horizon is filled with these cumulus clouds. Consequent to the weak easterlies the early mornings are still comfortable and possibly the saving grace on what is pretty much warm and sultry weather right through the day. We expect this to continue for a few more days before around the Tamil New Year’s day the low level wind directions will start slowly changing towards becoming Westerlies right on cue for the start of the Kathiri Period around early May. Till then let us appreciate what ever little nature gives to us.
